Sakshat tablet- World's Cheapest Android Tablet - $35 Tablet
India has launched the World's Cheapest tablet, the AAKASH. Indian goverment has introduced this tablet for the benefit of students. Aakash is a collaboration between the Indian Government and British based firm - Datawind.
Aakash runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo) and comes with a 7 inch resistive touch screen. It weighs about 350 Grams and supports a resolution of 800X480. Touch may not be very responsive because of its resistive touch screen feature feels some technicians. Capacitive Touch screen used in Iphone and latest Samsung Phones are the best Touch responsive material which would be bit expensive.
